Lucifer is now officially the first #1 album of SHINee in the Philippines! This is based on sales from the Astrovision and Astroplus music store chain for the week of September 13 to 19. Astrovision/Astroplus is one of the three largest record bars in the country.
Universal Records announced this great news on their Facebook site much to the delight of fans who participated in the album launch event last Saturday, September 18. The event was so successful that SHINee managed to sell around 180,000 copies of the album just during that day. With each album copy costing Php500, that translates to about Php900,000. This is quite impressive – making SHINee part of the exclusive club of K-Pop #1 Hitmakers in the country like Super Junior, U-Kiss, 2PM, and Girls Generation.
