The Ministry of Gender Equality and Family and the National Council of Youth Organizations in Korea is inviting the Filipino youth to join its 2012 Youth Camp for Asia’s Future. Seven representatives each from the Philippines and 22 other countries will be chosen to participate in this event. This will be held in Seoul, Yeosu, and Jeju Islands on August 6 to 12.

The applicants to this youth camp must be from 18 to 24 years old. It’s preferred for you to have never visited Korea before. However, you should preferably have had some Korean studies, have won a Korean-related contest, and must have the ability to present a traditional Filipino performance.

I’m sure a lot of students of the Korean Cultural Center in the Philippines would fit these requirements. If you’re interested and want to find out more about this, do visit HERE

Please note that the application can be coursed through the Korean Cultural Center in the Philippines and is only until noon of June 15. Good luck! I hope one of you gets to join this!

Thanks to the Korean Cultural Center in the Philippines for the photo.

Hi Joon! I’m Wena Sadorra, in charge of receiving submissions for this camp. For selection preferences, please correct traditional Korean performance to Filipino. The selected participants will be performing as representatives of the Philippines, therefore we are looking for those who have the ability to showcase a Filipino performance. Thanks for the post!
