Right in the heels of a successful Asian Youth Forum, the Asian Center in the University of the Philippines Diliman will be holding another forum focusing on the economic analysis of climate change in Korea. This will be held at the GT Toyota Building of the university on March 9.
What makes this topic quite interesting is how it would tie in environmental concerns with economic development. Considering how environmental awareness has been in the least priorities of the Philippine government, this can definitely be an eye-opening session. It is also quite timely considering how weather and environmental change has been credited as a major factor in several disasters – such as the Cagayan De Oro flooding.
This is a free session although registration is needed. Just contact the center through telephone number 981-8500 local 3577, mobile number 09328886909, or email at firstname.lastname@example.org
Thanks to the Asian Center for the photo.
