If you’re a Korean language teacher, a student of Korean language, or just interested in learning more about Korea – you can’t miss this!

The University of the Philippines Department of Linguistics will be having the 2012 Philippine Korean Studies Symposium on Feb. 20. This will be held at the Bahay Kalinaw in UP Diliman from 8 am to 5:30 pm. With its aim of promoting the Korean language and Korean studies in the Philippines, the symposium will cover various topics ranging from Korean linguistics, language teaching, culture, and society. There is no registration fee for this whole-day activity although you need to register online to attend.
