The Korean Cultural Center of the Philippines will be hosting the Philippine-Korea Literary Exchange at 3pm to 6pm tomorrow, Nov. 25. This special event aims to promote better understanding, awareness, and appreciation of both Philippine and Korean literature.
What makes this event even more exciting for those interested in culture and literature are the luminaries who will be gracing it. Dr. Wendell Capili and Charlson Ong from the University of the Philippines will be discussing about the state of Philippine poetry and novels, respectively, to give a clearer view of the overall status of Philippine literature. On the other hand, Professor Kim Seong-Choon will talk about the state of Korean poetry while Director Jang Yoon-Ik will tackle the state of Korean novels. No less than Philippine National Artist for Literature F. Sionil Jose would also be gracing the event.
With such an impressive roster of literary stalwarts, this is one event that one cannot miss.
