South Korea kicked off the 2nd Philippine International Pyromusical Competition with a dazzling performance featuring world famous violinist Park Eun-Joo that brightened the skies over SM Mall of Asia last February 12.
The powerful string music of Park Eun-Joo added a chic touch to the 1-hour fireworks showcase that fluidly mixed musical genres like house, electronic rock, and modern classical music. To top it off, she even did a stirring contemporary rendition of the Filipino classic “Anak” as the sky exploded in a sea of color.
Woori Fireworks, Inc. is the representative of South Korea this year. I think they did a spectacular job representing the country but I haven’t seen all the performances yet so I’ll reserve my judgment!
