Jay Park or Park Jae-Beom, the founding member and leader of 2PM, is visiting the country for his Fan Meet Tour 2010. He will be performing at the SM Mall Of Asia SMX Convention Center on October 3.

Jay Park will be performing his single, “Demon“, live for fans. He will also be having some special guests including Korean dance crew AOM (Art Of Movement, which Jay is also a member of), Korean hip-hop artist DOK2, plus Korean rapper THE QUIETT.

The mix of his guests is interesting since these are not the usual mainstream Korean artists. These are artists from the urban Korean hip-hop/rap scene. So if you’re looking for a Korean Music Dance Party – Jay Park’s fan meet is definitely the place to hit!

I’m not so sure how the reception of Jay Park will be in the country. But considering 2PM’s popularity (they just recently topped the Astrovision/Astroplus album sales charts), he might be able to create a considerable fan base in the country.

However, as early as now, the prices for the event have been raising some eyebrows. Ticketworld has listed the prices as: P4,980 for Gold, P1,980 for Silver, and P980 for Bronze. These are quite high compared to some of the top K-Pop concerts held in the country including that of Rain, Super Junior, One Way, and U-Kiss among others. This was also the complaint of many fans when he held his fan meets in Korea.

But if you have dough to blow, You can purchase tickets thru TicketWorld at 891-9999 or SM Outlets at 470-2222.

VIP tickets may also be purchased through 374-9999 at a staggering P9,980. The VIP tickets includes a meet and greet opportunity limited to only 100 people (100? That’s still quite large for a “limited” or “exclusive” opportunity). My advice: stick to the Silver tickets unless you are an absolute fan of Jay Park. That’s what I plan to do, so far.

Thanks to Ticketworld for the photo.
