After explaining the ratings of He’s Beautiful and East Of Eden HERE, I already wanted to let go of the ratings topic. But while reviewing the AGB Nielsen ratings of the two dramas for last month, I noticed how He’s Beautiful actually became the #1 daytime show nationwide for August 20 (17.1%) and August 23 (17.4%).

During these days, He’s Beautiful bested regular top-rating daytime programs like Eat Bulaga and Showtime – which is quite an achievement. In the Philippines, it’s rare for an afternoon program to beat the noontime programs.

Since then, He’s Beautiful has steadily stayed within the top 10 daytime programs nationwide. Although it usually places at #7 or #8, there are days when it still reaches #4 (August 24, with 14.8%) or even #3 (August 25, tied with Showtime at 15.1%).

Which again, brings me back to my concern about its timeslot. I really can’t help wonder how much better He’s Beautiful would have done on primetime.
